About me

Alisha Hime current works out of Columbia, South Carolina, however her work has taken her though the United States and Canada.

Photography has been a lifelong passion for her, starting with toy cameras at a young age. Her first class in photography was at Caddo Magnet High School in Shreveport Louisiana, where she learned the fundamentals of black and white film processing. She has since majored in Art and Psychology at Columbia College in Columbia, South Carolina. She learns by doing things on her own and is considered highly motivated with her art.

Alisha has been featured in several publications including the Free Times newspaper in Columbia South Carolina, The Post Script Newspaper, The Criterion, and M.D. News Columbia. Most of her work however, is freelance work dealing with event or graphic design. Clients include Columbia College Leadership Institute, Bridgetown Visitor Information Centre, Minding the Mind Publications, and several independent peoples for individual hire.
